Check out 1Mission<\/a>, an amazing organization that builds houses for impoverished families. We had the pleasure of joining them to help build a house in Mexico and spend time with the family that would occupy it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1Mission\u00a0is a community development organization giving people in poverty the opportunity to earn a house by serving their community. With over 155,000 hours of community service hours logged thus far, they have built over eight hundred houses for families in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oasis\u00a0team members and family traveled to Puerto Pe\u00f1asco, Mexico to help build a house with 1Mission. The leaders of 1Mission gave a tour of the town and explained their mission \u2013 to build houses for families in need while building a self-sustaining community development program through art, gardening, embroidery, cooking, and health classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
